My Village Photos

1- By the motorway of the South, in Damour to take the junction on the right towards, the old road on Saadiyate - Saida, side sea. After a junction to pass on the left by a small tunnel to take the road towards Saadiyate El Arab while arriving at "Debbieh".

2 - To enter it from the village a church of modern architecture, "Saint-Maron Church", straight, and has a left you will find a petrol station, and opposite to a few meters a Boustani Supermarket, and you continious straight towards the center of the village or has right-hand side a junction which takes you along to two districts, has "Doueir" and "Haliouneh" the farm of my birth. And if you continious straight without taking the last junction you see has right-hand side the center of health and Center Nabil Boustany for the social services, after you will find a firehouse, some meters you will be in the square of the village opposite the municipality, you look at has left a "Saint-Joseph Church", the old church in1812, in simple a Basilical plan, the frontal frontage and the entry are out of stone.

Come with me to go for a walk by the discovery of these old workings and to admire the planted interior gardens of adorous jasmines, hortansias and the shaded terraces of vine and the mandolins with the flowered vats of geraniums and the accessible porches of the houses.

The industrial area of "Debbieh" gathers two factories, a seedbad of Mr. Nabil Boustany, a center of health for the inhabitants of the area, and in the field of education and of teaching, an aofficial school and Arab University which are under construction.
